Project development takes into account all of the client's concerns and wishes as well as statutory and private law requirements. Clients, investors, architects and engineers are all involved. Ideally, the extinguishing system concept is the result of the project development.
Many well-known companies now rely on the services of KORTE ENGINEERING GmbH. There is now such a wide range of extinguishing technologies on the market that companies cannot make a competent choice on their own that will be recognized by the insurer and seek external support. It is not just a matter of selecting the most effective extinguishing technology, but also of implementing the measures in a targeted manner in accordance with statutory guidelines and standards. It involves the interaction of many different service providers who are pursuing a common goal. Adherence to deadlines and reliability are paramount; this is the only way to achieve a result that ultimately leads to everyone's satisfaction.
Although the number of major fires has fallen slightly in the meantime, the average amount of damage has increased due to the high concentration of values in buildings. So anyone who sees fire protection as an investment in the future and even more as a guarantee for the survival of their company will integrate this building block into their considerations at the earliest stage of the construction phase. The thought may now occur to you that everything in life has its price, surely fire protection does too?
In our case, the result of the project development is the creation of an extinguishing system concept. Project development takes into account all of the client's concerns and wishes as well as statutory and private law requirements.
Extinguishing system concepts are created during project development and form a planning basis for further technical and detailed planning that is coordinated in all directions and ready for acceptance with all those involved in the project, such as the client, fire protection experts and concept creators, state-approved testing experts and insurers. Extinguishing system concepts correspond to the fire protection concepts and must be adapted and updated to the local conditions such as the building structure and use, i.e. the overall framework conditions.
Extinguishing system concepts describe the project and the technical task. They define the scope of protection with the risk classification based on the use and fire hazard class of the building. By definition, the extinguishing system concept is a well thought-out and feasible technical solution to meet the requirements of building and insurance law. The extinguishing system concept is a technical description in the form of word and image documentation and is to be understood as 'basic determination' and 'preliminary planning' in the sense of the HOAI.
